Conference Topics
Rise Up to Worship
It's easy to take our family to church and worship there, but what about worship at home? What is family worship? While simple in theory you might need help in actually understanding and implementing it in the home. This session will help you not only discover its importance but also get ideas on getting it started. |
Rise Up to Serve
Have your ever sensed we live in a self-saturated culture? If you answered yes then we agree. What's the solution? We send our kids on missions trips and even go often ourselves, but what about serving and loving others together as a family? Is your family growing together in serving God, each other, your church and your community? During this session parents will learn insightful information on the second greatest commandment in Scripture, "love your neighbor as yourself." |
Rise Up to Protect
Children are exposed to so much indecent material everywhere they turn. It comes in every form and almost every student views it before age 18. It's been estimated that nearly 30 percent of the internet is pornographic related. Is there hope? Yes! There is hope and there are ways to protect your family and persevere in a crooked generation. We cannot ignore it but we can battle it. This session will help you engage in the reality and seriousness of the issue. |

Dear Parents,
What if your kids just automatically grasped this biblical principle without hesitation? “Children obey your parents because you belong to the Lord, for this is the right thing to do.” (Ephesians 6:1) Well, if they did then it would not be necessary for us to train them up in righteousness. The truth is that children need constant parenting. What we train them in now will stick with them for a lifetime. God’s Word assures us that if our children obey our instruction they will live a long life full of blessing. (Eph. 6:3) Therefore, the proper question for us to ask is what kind of instruction are we giving them while their hearts are still soft?
It’s our responsibility to create a culture in the home of worship, devotion and service to God. It’s our responsibility as parents to protect and help our children persevere through the land mines and challenges of life. The enemy is out to seek and destroy families. He will start with you and finish by devouring your children. What are you willing to do to be better equipped to fight against the tricks and strategies of Satan?
This year we are hosting our 2nd Annual Rise Up Parenting Conference at Euto Baptist Church. I would like to invite you to join us on Saturday, August 5th, from 9am-1pm, for an impactful and insightful time of learning together. This year Dr. Rodney and Donna Navey will be leading us again as we look at three main topics: family worship, family service, and protection & perseverance. We will have a closing time specifically on the topic of internet and social media safeguarding.
I hope you will make this special opportunity a priority. We would love for you to attend!! The conference is only $15.00 per family, which includes lunch and the book, “The Tech Wise Family” by Andy Grouch. Registration is required and childcare is available upon request at registration.
